I'm a slacker!

I've been slacking off too much. Maybe Halloween/daylight savings time threw me off a little. Or maybe I'm just looking for something to blame.
Either way, it's time for me to get more serious about this.
The child and I made a cleaning deal with each other the other day. Every weeknight at 7:00, the TV and computer are turned off, we put a CD on and we clean for an hour. The past couple of days have been great, though the house isn't clean yet. But there is so much progress. It's amazing what can be done in just one hour.
My plan is to have the entire house organized, by Christmas. I want everything to have a specific place to go.
Enough about that, though. It's 7:34 am, and I'm going to go for a walk and get ready for work, as soon as I finish this post.
I feel like I'm ready to set a date, but I'm not going to do it just yet. Not out of procrastination, but because I really think that this will work better if I stick to my plan. Which reminds me, it's time to set a new goal. Actually, I've already set this goal and started it, and mentioned it. I need to post it, and stick in in the memories section.
Eh..I'll do it now, even better.

yay for a cleaning deal! You know, it only takes 3 weeks to establish a habit....or squash one. Good luck with it all!

How's the going to bed earlier going?

Thanks! I'm certainly trying.
It's going ok. Still hard, but I've done it more than not done it.
I'm not letting myself take a nap or 'accidentally' fall asleep after work, so I'm definitely more tired and sleepy when it gets close to 11.

Cool. Is it easier to get up in the morning?

Yes! When I stay up late, I'm sleeping so hard in the mornings, that I will sleep right through the alarm, and not even hear it, often leaving us to rush around to get ready for school/work, which leads to arguing with the child and going off angry and irritated. When I go to bed on time, I always hear the alarm loud and clear, and I'm not as prone to hit the snooze. I'm actually ready to get up for the day. That in it's self is a good feeling, and our mornings are so much less stressful. It makes a world of difference in our attitudes and we always have a good day when that happens.
